Birdies

Edward and I went to the Burroughs Audobon Nature Center andBird Sanctuary yesterday. What a great way to turn a kinda gloomy day into a spontaneous little "date"! Dusk on a moist, cloudy day is an excellent time to watch these active little critters (can you use that word for a bird?)! Have you ever seen a red-bellied woodpecker? Or a white-breasted nuthatch? I have (now).

With our Peterson bird guide and binoculars, we turned a kinda stinky day into a memory we'll cherish forever. Ok you can tell we're newlyweds. Still! It reminded me of this day
